Foundation 2 Autumn 1 2026
Welcome to Dragonflies and Butterflies!
We have a very busy and exciting half term ahead of us. We are going to be concentrating on the topic ‘My World, Your World.’
We will use this topic to get to know your child by finding out about their families, home life, what they are interested in and their hobbies. We will be celebrating the features of our lives that are similar and that are different.
We will share our two focus books with your child, ‘My World, Your World’ and ‘The Colour Monster.’
We hope your child quickly settles into Foundation 2 and enjoys working in our environment.

It would really help your child if you could label all their clothes and belongings. Thank you.
Also, please encourage your child to put on their own coat, shoes, and socks as this will really help them during the school day.
If you have any concerns or questions, please feel free to come and see us - preferably at the end of the day.
