Parents Area

As parents you are the most important person in your child’s life and we look forward to working in partnership with you.

Hempshill Hall is a welcoming school and we work hard to build relationships with parents and carers. The class teacher should be your first point of contact and each year group has an email to enable you to get in touch. This website contains a wealth of useful information - please take time to explore the different areas and let us know if there are other things you would like us to include.

Best wishes

Anti Bullying Week

Monday 10th November it is the start of Anti Bullying Week. This year the theme is ‘Power for Good’. We will be holding a special assembly to remind the children what bullying is and what they can do if they feel this is happening to them or if they are aware that someone is being unkind to one of their friends. Children will also complete a range of different activities within their classes. There is a useful guide for parents which can be found using this link Parents and Carers.

Odd Sock Day and Children in Need

We will be joining in with ‘Odd Sock Day’ to celebrate the fact that we are all unique. We would like all children and staff (and parents) to come to school with their best odd sock choices on Friday 14th November.

This will coincide with Children in Need, and we will be having a non-uniform day. We would love children to wear something blue or yellow and their craziest pair of socks. We are asking for a voluntary donation, and we will split money between the Anti Bullying Alliance and Children in Need. We thank you for your ongoing support with these important events.
